Impending Bloom, a Delaware C-corp based in New York City, was founded by George Levasser and is led by an accomplished team of women. Our culture emphasizes support, growth, and exploration, creating a dynamic, mission-driven environment focused on personal and professional development.

We operate with a “Petri dish” approach, pursuing diverse initiatives inspired by Harry Markowitz’s modern portfolio theory. This diversification helps us address the complex and politicized sustainability and ESG markets by running experiments. Cross-pollination and synergies between our business lines drive innovation, minimizing risks and advancing sustainability. In essence, we are a portfolio of interconnected initiatives.

Over two years, we’ve built a fellowship program with 600 alumni now employed at major companies like Huawei, Google, and Amazon. We also developed a sentiment analysis platform, visualizing moral traits of S&P 100 companies in 2D and 3D maps, where each “flower” represents a company and links show sector connections.

Using advanced tools like NLP, topic modeling, and currently developing agentic AI, we explore qualitative data within sustainability. Inspired by our founder’s computational sociology background, this approach transforms qualitative insights into actionable data.

At Impending Bloom, our supportive company culture inspires innovation, challenges norms, and drives progress, setting the foundation for long-term success.

We come from different facets of the world.Impending Bloom is a design space, problem space, platform made up of researchers, analysts, engineers, business leaders, misfits, creators, dreamers and– all of these come together on our platform. Building a better, more just tomorrow depends on all of us.
